The electrochemical behavior of amorphous Ni89P11 alloy studied in HCl solutions at different concentrations in the range (1.0 – 9.0) shows that the alloy exhibit a passivation region at low concentrations and a pitting corrosion at higher concentration (9.0) M .This was explained to be due to the selective dissolution of Ni with consequent deposition of elemental phosphorus remaining on the alloy surface .
