Boric acid is very important in the industrial process. Therefore, the aim of this work was to investigate the best conditions of obtaining boric acid from boron mineral, thermally dehydrated ulexite, prepared at high solid-to-liquid ratios in sulphuric acid. In the experiments, the parameters of particle size, reaction temperature, acid concentration, stirring speed, and solid-to-liquid ratio were chosen. It was observed that the extracted amount of boric acid increased with increasing reaction temperature, decreasing with particle size and decreased with increasing solution concentration, with increasing solid-to-liquid ratios, while it was not affected by stirring speed.
