The densities and viscosities of binary mixtures of propyl acetate with methanol, ethanol and propan-1-ol have been measured over the entire range of composition at 298.15 and 303.15 K and at atmospheric pressure. Excess Gibbs free energy of activation of viscous flow ( G*E) and Grunberg-Nissan interaction parameter ( d ) of binary liquid mixtures is useful in understanding the nature of intermolecular interactions between two liquids.
