Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of 7-Substituted-2-(3,5-Dimethyl-Pyrazol-1-Yl)-6-Fluoro-2,3dihydro-Benzothiazole

We prepared 7-Substituted-6-fluorobenzothiazol-2-ylamine(K2) from 3-Chloro-4-fluorophenylamine. 7-substituted-6-fluorobenzothiazol-2-ylamine on treated with hydrazine hydrate to get 7-substituted-6-fluoro-benzothiazol-2-yl-hydrazine(K3) and than prepared 7-substituted-2-(3,5-dimethyl-pyrazol-1-yl)-6-fluoro-2,3-dihydrobenzothiazole(KS 1-9). Various compounds and their derivatives were prepared and confirmed by IR, NMR. Antimicrobial study shows that synthesized compounds have moderate activity.
