Densities ultrasound velocities of binary mixtures of hexanol -1 in carbon tetra chloride, benzene and toluene have been measured over entire range of composition at different temperature and at atmospheric pressure. From the experimental values of density, velocity and viscosity, the excess isentropic compressibility () intermolecular free length () and viscosity () have been computed. Deviation in and throw light on the molecular interaction between like molecules.
