A simple and conventient method has been developed for the milligram determination of some diuretics e.g. Acetazolamide, Frusemide, Spironolactone, Hydrochlorothiazide, Indapamide hemihydrate and Mannitoal in pure form and in their pharamaceutical preparations with the use of Pyridinium Flurochromate (PFC) in acidic medium. The values of % error, SD and CV prove the method to be precise and reproducible.
