Fairly air stable organoruthenium (II) complexes having spectral formula (Ru(Pf3)2 (LH)2Cl2), (RuH(CO)(Pf3)n(LH)n'Cl) (where n = 1 or 2 and n'= 2 or 1) and (RuH(CS)(Pf3)n (LH)n' Cl) (where n = 1,2,3 and n'= 2,1,0 respectively and LH is PQTH, mQTH and CS2) have been prepared and characterised using various physico-chemical methods. All these complexes are found to be non-electrolytic and diamagnetic in nature. On the basis of normal coordinate analysis are found octahedral in geometry.
