Synthesis of Acid 2,9-Di-(Ortho-Hydroxyphenoxy) Sebacic by Microwaves Activation Technique

Complexing agents belonging to the family of acid-phenol compounds were synthesized by mean of a new method based on microwave activation. The step of methoxy cleavage of the classical synthesis way was avoided and the reaction rate had increased by a factor of 1000.
