In the present experiment a very preliminary attempt has been made to observe the antifungal activity of B1 [7-Bromo-3,5-dimethyl-2-(4'-methylbenzoyl)-4H-1,4-benzothiazine], B2 [7-Bromo-3,5-dimethyl-2-(4'-chlorobenzoyl)-4H-1, 4-benzothiazine], S1 [7-Bromo-3,5-dimethyl-2-(4'-methylbenzoyl)-4H-1,4-benzothiazine sulfone] and S2 [7-Bromo-3,5-dimethyl-2-(4'-clorobenzoyl)-4H-1,4-benzothiazine sulfone] on Curvularia lunata (common leaf spot), Rhizoctonia solani (Sheath blight of paddy) and Aspergillus niger (common storage fungus).
KEYWORDS:Antifungal activity; 4H-1;4-Benzothiazine; Curvularia lunata; Rhizoctonia solani; Aspergills niger
