The redox characteristics of acetophenone oxime at carbon paste (CP) electrode and p-nitroacetophenone oxime at CP and glassy carbon (GC) electrode in 10 M H2SO4 were studied using cyclic voltametry. The diagnostic features of the voltammograms show that these compounds undergo irreversible reduction of the oxime to amine. At a fixed concentration and acidity, the effect of scan rates for different compounds was studied. The plot of ip vs v
