Various pyramidine derivates have been synthesized and tested for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. The structures of the synthesis compounds have been elucidated on the basis of their elemental analysis and spectral data. 2-amino pyrimidine when reacted with different aromatic aldehydes gave Sciff's bases, which were then cyclized with thiolactic acid and thioglycolic acid.
