Synthesis and Characterization of 3-Substituted Phenyladine/Furfurylidene Amino-2h-1-Benzopyran-2-Ones and Study of Their Anti-Fungal and Anti-Bacterial Activities

Some benzopyrane-2-one derivatives have been synthesized by the minor modification procedure of cyclisation of salicyaldehyde with glycine and piperidene as the solvent and finally, condensation with aromatic aldehydes. The physical and spectral data of synthesized compounds were determined. The synthesized compounds were screened for their anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities.
