The mixed ligand complexes of b-picoline (b-pico), Lysine (lys1-) and metheonine (meth1-) with Pb(II) have been studied polorographically at constant ionic strength, μ=1.5 M (NaNO3) and pH 6.0 at 25.4±0.1 °C. The reduction of the complexes at d.m.e. is reversible and diffusion-controlled. Two mixed complexes, [Pb(lys) (b-pico)]+ and [Pb(meth)(b-pico)]+ are formed and their stability constants at 25.4 °C are ; log b11 = 5.899 and log b11 = 6.148 respectively.
