Bod and Cod Monitoring in Waste Water Samples at Bhopal (M.P.)

The surface water is the main source for public utility. This study assess the Biochemical Oxygen Demand and Chemical Oxygen Demand of the water quality at Bhopal. The methodology was followed according to APHA method. The sampling were made on monthly basis. The present BOD and COD quantity deteriorates the quality of the water.
