Fairly air stable oragnoruthenium (II) complexes having general formula [Ru(Pf3)2(LH)2Cl2], [RuH(CO)(Pf3)n(LH)n1Cl] (where n=1 or 2 and n1=2 or 1) and [RuH(CS)(Pf3)n(LH)n1Cl] (where n = 1,2,3 and n1 = 2,1,0 respectively and LH is PQTH, mQTH and CS2) have been prepared and characterised using various physico-chemical methods. All these complexes are found to be non-elecrolytic and diamagnetic in nature. On the basis of normal co-ordinate analysis these are found octahedral in geometry.
