A series of new chelates of tripositive rare earth bromide of N, N, N1, N1—tetramethyl thiuram disulphide (TMTDS) of the general composition LnBr3.2TMTDS were synthesised and characterized through elemental analyses, electrolytic conductivity, molecular weight, magnetic susceptibility and infrared spectra. D.T.A. of some of the complexes were also investigated.
