Some fluoro substituted pyrazolines, isoxazolines and pyrimidines have been synthesised from chalcone on reaction with hydrazine, hydroxylamine and guanidine respectively. Structure of these compounds have been established on the basis of spectral studies and elemental analysis. All the synthesised compounds have been screened for their antibacterial activities against S. aureus, E. coli, S. paratyphi-A and B. subtilis.
