Synthesis and Antibacterial Activity of Some New Aryl Azopyrazoles

Various1-(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl)-3-methyl-4-(substituted phenylhydrazono)-2-pyrazoline-5-one were synthesized and evaluated for their antibacterial activity. The compound showed significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (Gram +ve) and E. Coli (Gram -ve) bacteria by agar plate diffusion method.
