Chemical investigation of Vitis Quadrangularis Wall, commonly known as Harzora Lata in this region led to the isolation of triterpenoid Friedelan-3-one and traces of d - lactone from the methanol extract. The structure of the compounds were established by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and mass spectral data.
