The kinetic studies of epoxy resins, using alcohols as diluents in presence of amine catalysts were carried out for the system diglycidyl either of bisphenol-A (DGEBA), epoxidized 2,4-dichlorophenol-1, 2-dicholorethane oligomer (EBPE) and phthalic anhydride (PA) [1:1:2]. The effect of various alcohols added as diluent on the extent of reaction in the foresaid system was studied at 135°C.
