Dibromoacetates Ca(O2CCHBr2).CHBr2COOH, Mg(O2CCHBr2)2.CHBr2COOH, Sr(O2CCHBr2)2.CHBr2COOH, Zn(O2CCHBr2)2.CHBr2COOH, Cd(O2CCHBr2)2.CHBr2COOH, Cu(O2CCHBr2)2, Ni(O2CCHBr2)2 and their complexes having composition Cu(O2CCHBr2)2 and their complexes having composition Cu(O2CCHBr2)2.2(C2H5)2NH, Cu(O2CCHBr2)2.2(C2H5)3N, Cu(O2CCHBr2)2.2C5H5N, Cu(O2CCHBr2)2-o-C6H4NH2F, Cu(O2CCHBr2).2(C6H5)3PO, Cu(O2CCHBr2)2.2C5H5NO, Co(O2CCHBr2)2.4C6H4NH2F, Cu(O2CCHBR2).2C9H7N, Co(O2CCHBr2)2.2(C2H5)3N, Co(O2CCHBr2)2-o-C6H4NH2F, Co(O2CCHBr2)2.2(C6H5)3PO, Co(O2CCHBr2)2.2C5H5NO, Ni(O2CCHBr2)2.4C5H5N, Ni(O2CCHBr2)2.2(C2H5)3N, Ni(O2CCHBr2)2.2C9H7N, Ni(O2CCHBr2)2-o-C6H4NH2F, Co(O2CCHBr2)2.2(C6H5)3PO, Ni(O2CCHBr2).2C5H5NO have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, infrared electronic spectral and magnetic moment studies.
