A series of substituted thiosemicarbazides have been synthesised in 54 to 67% yield, by the reaction of 4-hydrazino-6-phenylthieno [3,2-d] pyrimidine with arylisothiocyanates. The synthesised products have been screened for their antimicribial activities against several microbes.
