A Short Study on Pilot Scale Uasb Reactor Using Starch Effluent

The discharge of inadequately treated effluents has an adverse impact on surrounding ecosystem. An attempts has been made to study the anaerobic digestion of starch effluents using laboratory base UASB digester. Performance evaluation in terms of COD and BOD reduction and generation of methane rich biogas has been reported.
