Condensation of Barbituric Acid W Ith Aldehydes Using Basic Alumina, Sodium Chloride and K2so4 (Anhyd.) as Catalyst

The condensation of barbituric acid with aldehydes has been carried out in presence of basic alumina (56-67%), sodium chloride (60-68%) and K2SO4 (anhyd.) (81-94%) catalysts under microwave irradiation in dry media.
