2-Methoxyl-4-N-Methyle-5-Carbomethoxy-Imidazole from Hypericum Perforatum

An imidazole alkaloid is isolated from the alcoholic extract of the leaf of Hypericum perforatum. This is defined as 2-methoxyle-4-N-methyle-5-carbomethoxy-imidazole on the basis of spectral data.
