Microwave Assisted one Step Synthesis of Some (4h)-1,4-Benzothiazine Derivatives

A rapid and efficient method for the synthesis of biologically active (4H)-1,4-benzothiazine derivatives by cyclization of o-aminothiophenol with 1,3-diketones as well as b-ketoesters in DMSO under microwave irradiation is reported.
