The reduction of Cd(II) has been carried out electrochemically in aqueous solution of tetracycline hydrochloride. The reduction of all the systems has been found to be revisable and diffusion controlled involving two electrons. The formation of MXY, has been identified and stability constant of such complex has been evaluated by extending the method of Schapp and Mc Masters. The statistical and electrostatic effect have also been discussed by using these stability constants.
