The ultrasonic velocity and density have been measured for the binary mixture N, N-DMF + Methanol at 298.15, 303.15 and 308.15 °K. Isentropic compressibility, intermolecular free length, molar volume, available volume and their excess values bE, LE, VE, VE and other parameter specific acoustical impedence, molar sound velocity have been computed, and the results are discussed in the light of these excess. The negative deviation from ideal behaviour is indicative of strong interaction between the components.
