The N-Glucosylated Compounds have been known for their great importance. They have been found use as diuretic agents, analgesics, antidibetic compounds, bacteriostatic agents and in many other ways1. Certain 1-Tetra-o-Benzoyl-b-D-Glucopyranosyl-3-aryl/ (H) thiocarbamides have been prepared by the interaction of tetra-o-benzoyl-b-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate and aryl amines/ammonia. Tetra-o-benzoyl-b-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate was prepared by interaction of tetra-o-benzoyl-b-D-glucopyranosyl bromide and lead thiocyanate. The identities of these new N-glucosides have been established on the basis of usual chemical transformations and IR, NMR studies.
