Synthesis and Charecterization of Sn (IV) Complexes With 2h-(3',5'-Disubstituted Indol-2'-Carboxamidyl) Iminomethyl Phenols

A few complexes of Sn(IV) with 2H(3',5'-disubstitutedindol-2'-carboxamidyl) iminomethyl phenols (Schiff bases) have been synthesized. These complexes have been characterized by analytical and spectral data These ligands show bidentate behaviour to form the complexes of the type SnCI2l2. The Sn(lV) exhibits coordination number six in these complexes.
