A series of substituted arylazo Schiff bases have been synthesised in 6 to 43% yield, by the reaction of 4-NN-bis_2'-cyanoethylaminobenzylidine (unsubstituted/substituted)-anilines with diazotized aromatic amines. Some of the new products have been evaluated for their anti-cancer ans anti-HIV activities.
KEYWORDS:synthesised; cyanoethylaminobenzylidine; unsubstituted/substituted
