Assessment of Water Quality of River Narmada at Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh

The paper describes the results of physico-chemical observations of Narmada river water during the period from April'98 to March'99. The river was not found to be severely polluted at Hoshangabad but it is necessary to prevent it from reaching to this stage.
