A New Isoflavone from the Seeds of Psoralea Corylifolia Linn

A systematic chemical investigation of the chloroform extract of defatted seeds of Psoralea corylifolia by column chromatographic separation have led to the isolation of a new compound namely 6-hydroxy-6", 6"-dimethylpyrano-(2",3": 4',3')-isoflavone.
