Synthesis and Studies on Fungitoxicity of 2-Amino [5-(Substituted Phenoxy) Methylene]-1, 3, 4-Oxadiazoles Against Aspergellus Niger and Helminthosporium Oryzae

A series of 2- Amino-[5-(substituted phenoxy) methylene]-1,3,4-oxadiazoles were synthesized by condensation of semtcarbazide with various 2/4-chloro, 2/3/4-methylene and 4-chloro-3-methyl phenoxy acetic add. All such compounds have shown significant activity against the mentioned fungi viz., Aspergellus niger and Helminthosporium oryzae.
