Ultrasonic velocity and density measurements of various solutions of different concentrations of dimethyl-tellurium diiodide in acetone have been carried out at 35,40,45°C.The experimental data have been used to calculate other thermodynamic and acoustic parameters such as adiabatic compressibility, intermolecular free length, molar sound velocity, molar volume, apparent molar compressibility, specific acoustic impedance, and solvation number. The significant information about intermolecular interaction between an organometallic moiety (Me2Tel2) and acetone have been obtained.
KEYWORDS:Dimethyl-tellurium; Intermolecular; (Me2Tel2); Acetone
