A series of substituted arylazo Schiff bases have been synthesized in 6 to 43% yield, by the reaction of 4-NN-bis-2'-cyanoethylaminobenzylidene(unsubstituted/substituted)- anilines with diazotised aromatic amines. Some of the new products have been evaluated for their anti-cancer and anti-HIV activities.
