Some new 3-(N-aryl/naphthyl carbomyl) Benzoic acids and 3(N-aryl/naphtyl carbomyl) Propionic acids have been synthesised with excellent yields. Structure of products have been confirmed from elemental analysis and spectral data (IR and 1H NMR). All these compounds have been evaluated for their inhibitory activity against several bacteria and fungi.
KEYWORDS:3-(N-aryl/naphthyl carbomyl); Propionic acids; Inhibitory
