The properties of azo reactive dyes based on 2-methyl-6-amino-4-oxoquinazofine nucleus have been evaluated by applying them on various Fibre. The properties of these dyes were studied by applying them to cotton, wool and silk fabric in 2% shade, gave moderate to good light fastness, good to excellent fastness to washing and rubbing fastness have been studied.
KEYWORDS:Mono functional reactive dyes; cotton fabric; Dyeing; silk; wool
