The FTIR and FT Raman spectra of 2-Anilinopyridine molecule have been recorded in the present study. The FTIR spectra of the molecule has been recorded in the region 4000-400cm-1 and the Raman spectra was measured over the region3500-100cm-1. Both the spectra have been analysed on the basis of Cv symmetry and the observed bands have been assigned to the different specific modes of vibration. The assignments of infrared and Raman bands of 2-Anilinopyridine molecule are made on the basis of magnitude and relative intensities of the observed bands. The assignments made for the complex molecule under investigation are found to be satisfactory with earlier work on some pyridine and pyrimidine derivatives.
