Polyesters have been prepared by reaction between diglycidyl ether of bis phenol A (DGEBA) (a commercial epoxy resin) and various dibasic acids. The resultant polyesters have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectral studies, number average molecular weight determination by non- aqueous conductometric titration and thermogravimetry.
KEYWORDS:Polyesters; epoxy resin; dibasic acid; IR Spectroscopy; Molecular weight; thermogravimetry etc
