Vanadyl Pyrophosphate - Selective Partial Oxidation Catalyst for n-Butane to Maleic Anhydride

Vanadyl pyrophosphate, (VO) P O with P/V = 1.03 was prepared in organic medium and was 2 2 7 characterized by means of chemical analysis, surface area and porosity measurements, X-ray diffractions (XRD), Diffuse Reflectants Infrared Fourier Transform Spectroscopy (DRIFTS), thermal reaction of the precursor and temperature programmed desorption (TPD) of ammonia.
