The mass spectral studies on several structurally related pyridine thiohydroximic ester have been studied. The fragmentation pattern of the esters is of similar pattern, thus offering a means of characterization by mass spectrometry. Some differences are, however, expected due to change in the position of substituents on the pyridine ring as well as the change in the nature of s-substitutions.
