Alkali Metal Complexes: Mixed Ligand Complexes of Alkali Metal Salts of Glycine and β-Alanine With Iso-Nitroso-p- Methylacetophenone

A number of mixed ligand complexes of alkali metals of glycine and alanine with isonitroso-p- methylacetophenone have been systhesied and characterised. Ease of complexation as well as the yield has been found to increase with the increase in radius of alkali metal cations. Low value of their molar conductivities would suggest them to be non-electrolyte.
