Synthesis of Azo Dyes using 2-Amino-4,4'-Dichloro Diphenylether 2'-Sulphonic Acid and their Application on Wool, Nylon and Silk as Acid Dyes

Some new azo acid dyestuff containing nucleus like 2-Amino-4',4' dichloro diphenylether 2'- sulphonic acid were synthesised. The synthetic compound were characterised by elemental analysis and I.R. spectra. The dyeing properties on various textile fabrics were investigated.
