Sex hormones regulate the metabolic activity of various organs. The change in metabolism may alter enzyme activities. An attempt has been made to find out such change by studying ATPase, Glycytglydne and Glycyl - L - Leucine depeptidase activities in castrated rats. The results indicate the hormonal dependency of these enzymes.
