Glypinamide (Parinase), an oral anti-diabetic agent forms 2:1 complex with manganese chloride in alcoholic medium as indicated by conductometric titration and further verified by Job's method of continuous variation. Analytical results are in favour of 2:1 ratio between ligand and metal. The structure assigned to the complex is supported by I.R. Spectral data.
