Chrysocriol 7-0(6-O-α-L-Arabinofuranosyl) β-D-Glucopyranoside from Tagetes Patula

The isolation and structure determination of a new flavonoid glycoside from the whole plant of Tagetes patula is described. Evidences from chemical transformation and spectroscopic data reveal its structure to be ."Chrysocriol 7-0(6-O-α-L-Arabinofuranosyl) β-D-Glucopyranoside".
