Homogenous solid solutions of (Ca1 Znm Cd n)10 hydroxy lapatites with fixed 1=1 have been prepared over the entire compositional range by co-precipitation at 37±5°C in CO2 free doubly distilled water by the addition of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate to solutions of Zinc, Cadmium and Calcium nitrates made strongly basic with ammonia. The lattice parameter of the solid solutions have been measured.
KEYWORDS:Homogenous; Co-precipitation; Retention
