Addition complexes of some of the copper (II) arylcarboxylates and chloroacetates with ethylpyridines have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of various physico-chemical measurements i.e. IR spectral data, electronic spectra, magnetic and conductance measurements. 1:1 complexes are dimenc having a carboxylate bridged structure whereas 1:2 complexes are monomeric having a distorted octahedral structure.
