ABSTRACT:

Proteins are the building units of the body. They are made up of living cells. Thousands of functions are performed by proteins in exact sequence that causes the cells to live. Proteins like synthetic polymers are chains or repeating units. The amino acids are fundamental units of proteins, Fractionation of protein was done from defatted seed powder and the percentage of crude protein and protein in each fraction Albumin, Globulin, Glutelin were determined by Micro Kjheldahl' s method.
